Judy challenged us to use stencil techniques today. So I went straight for this background that I had leftover from Lydia's MIX298 challenge. It's the paper I pressed onto the stencil that I used on my gelli plate. It was my favorite print of the day. I wanted to let it shine with just this simple sentiment stamp. I recently won the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge and I picked up this stamp because it spoke to me. LOL! I split it up, so the inside say "MY CHILDHOOD PUNISHMENTS ARE NOW MY ADULT GOALS". I didn't realize it was designed by our own Dina Kowal until I got the package in the mail.

oh i think those goals are super for anyone, been my life's motto. well not entirely, but i'm an introvert so they work for me. i can see why that's a favorite background. i hate it when i've used up all my favorite backgrounds, as i have no clue how to make it happen again. love everything about your card.

This card speaks to me in the stage of life I now find myself. Staying home and relaxing IS the party!!LOL I just love when a leftover from a previous project becomes part of the next project. That is why I seldom clean up right after I finish something. My inspiration often comes from the mess that is left behind. I have a crazy mind!!!LOL

What a beautiful background...it reminds me of some openwork mesh ribbon I had. You're right to let it take centre stage. What a fabulous sentiment, too. I'd count all those as treats, for sure.
