It's my turn to host the Inspiration Challenge & I chose Christmas Central as the site. Christmas will be here before you know it so better get busy! I was inspired by THIS cute plate. I just love the cute penguins.
For my penguin carolers, after stamping, coloring & die cutting them, I hunted around for some paper to go behind them. Nothing looked quite right until I found this box of patterned Christmas cards. It was one of those that had different printed patterns but still blank. I bought them on clearance a long time ago & mostly just to use the card fronts & envelopes. After I die cut it & a white layer, I used a new angled border die to cut the white panel. Originally, I had the black snowflake pattern at the bottom, but decided I liked it better the other way around. The greeting was stamped on a circle along w/ some little snowflakes then I put it all together.
Thanks so much for looking. Closeups, Copic colors & product links are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Super cute creation, Julie. Your adorable carolers are singing out their little hearts. I really like the background of snowflake paper from your cards. Super Christmas card.

I love the snowflake background, how fun to be able to use something from your clearance stash. Your penguins are so cute. I love the way you colored the penguins with reddish reflections. Totally charming penguins!

Julie, the singing penguins are so adorable! Your coloring of them is striking and I love the pinkish hue around their bellies. The snowflake designer paper is beautiful and a perfect fit for the card. I love the design of the white panels. Great card, Julie!
