This is for the Teapotters Challenge & card exchange. Jan is the guest hostess for Lacy Loveliness to Featured lace on your card. My apologies to Jan & all, I remembered the challenge as including lace and missed the word Feature. I should have reread the challenge before creating. I found only one scrap of lace in my stash, so I placed it under the teacup. I used a lacy paper doily on the left side. The triple treat layered flower has a lacy look. The bonus was to include a gem or brad. I used a swirl of rhinestones at the brim of the teacup like swirling rising steam.
My card is a case of a beautiful card sent to me by Julie/halzachmom in the Bakers Dozen Card Swap. I have wanted to case it ever since receiving it. This challenge seemed fitting for a teacup card. For my case, I used the same stamps, but changed the papers, colors, added the gems & lace and arranged things a little differently. The teacup and flower are heat embossed in white. The flower was punched out & layered and the teacup was fussy cut. Thank you Jan for the challenge. Thank you Julie for inspiring my card. TFL

Wonderfully creative card for a fellow teapotter. You will get lots of extra cookies for that steam, lol....That background paper is really rich looking and embossing your images really enriches the whole card!

Oh, to me feature and use are interchangeable! I wouldn't worry at all... whoever gets this will be thrilled with it. I'm always telling myself that I don't have to go overboard with whatever a challenge says to use. Unless it's something like creating a background!! You've got the doily and a very pretty delicate paper as well as the lace...and such lovely colours, too.

Diane this is so lovely. You and I can sit in the naughty corner together...I didn't read the challenge properly either, I wouldn't even have known if I hadn't read your story LOL. Back to your lovely card, I love it and so will a lucky Teapotter.

Your card, Diane, drew me in with that lovely China cup. The rhinestone steam is a happy design element. I love the snippet of lace...it makes your card!
