For the Alpha R challenge. Double challenge to recycle. I have always loved the idea of using bought cards to do this. This was from a card I was recently given. I put glitter paper behind the piece and diecut the flirty flamingo h.b. which perfectly matches the color in the flower but I could not get the camera to show that. I dotted the i with a white perfect accent. I used the sparkle brush on the letters. It looks much prettier irl. TFL

It is nice to give a purchased card a second life by using parts of it! You did a great job on this one. Those colors look very close even in the pictures.

Oh, Shirl, what a beautiful way to recycle a card, and it's GORGEOUS! I love that flower and the colors, and what a great addition to add the "happy birthday" die cut. Beautifully done, and it must be far prettier IRL with the sparkle! Hugs and love! xoxo

This is one gorgeous card Shirl! I love how you used this flower from a store-bought card and put it on this beauty. The angled lattice piece really allows your sparkle paper to twinkle and sparkle through it so nicely. I immediately saw that coral color in the flower and how it matches your shimmery sentiment perfectly. This gorgeous card represents upcycling at it's best my friend! ~Karen.
