IÂ’ll admit it. I panicked a little bit when I read SabrinaÂ’s challenge. Collage style is really hard for me. But I read the tutorials and I picked up some tips. And I decided it would be good for me to get out of my comfort zone and do more stamping with colors. I made it easier on myself by choosing a stamp set for my main colored images. And then chose some background stamps that were easy to grab. I actually just got the diamond background and the grunge polka dots in the mail yesterday. After I did my stamping, I did some sponging and water splatter, colored in a couple of birds, and distressed the edges. IÂ’m OK with my results. I just need more practice at this technique. Thanks for a challenging challenge, Sabrina!

I used to panic too, so I know how you feel. But those tips in that earlier WT challenge were what really helped me feel more comfortable with the idea - and I'm glad the tutorials helped you. You certainly rocked it - there should be more of these in your future. Soon. I love the warm colours in the background, the little added embellishments, and especially the bird and feather in the birthday card. Those diamonds are a nice size, a little smaller than print pattern which was all I had.

I think you did really well on these! My favorite parts..the grunge dots and the distressing around the edges...they really take it up a notch. Super cards!

Anita is right! My first thought was ‘and Jen made two’!
And what a cool 2 they are. It is always so fun to ink up something new. I love the lil collage squares. Well done.
