ABC10M6: the alphabet challenge is on the letter M with a double challenge of minerals. My M is the big, glowing moon and for minerals, I have both gold and silver embossing powder.
I focused on her galaxy background - though I did an inky background and her fabulous moon. Such cute cards!
I used the watercolor tissue paper technique to create my moon adding gold embossing powder for some sparkle. SCS has a wonderful tutorial here for watercolor tissue paper: Tissue Paper Watercolor Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers I used Wild Honey, Antique Linen, and a hint of Black Soot to watercolor my moon.
Then I created my galaxy background with fossilized amber, seedless preserves, peacock feathers, salty ocean, and black soot distress oxide ink.
I stamped my big dipper with Versamark and used sparkly silver embossing powder to highlight it. The sentiment is a little hard to read in the photo but it says shoot for the moon.
This was a lot of fun to make. Thanks for looking.
Congratulations, Jennifer, on being featured stamper. Enjoy your week!

You made a great galaxy sky and then put that big ole moon right in the center of it! (OK, maybe not right in the center but it is sure demanding the center of attention!) Beautiful!
