Hello, sweet friends! Well, Brenda, I love your Inspiration Challenge this week with the right inspiration for me to inspire me with this new digital image. (I'm sure I could be inspired by many of these flags for lots more cards.) I have to admit that orange is NOT my favorite color by far - haha! But I do love pumpkins. This beautiful garden flag inspired me (among several others). Of course, I love when I can add an encouraging Scripture verse, which makes it a special card for me to send.
I printed the focal image large enough and the Scripture verse next to it in landscape mode - and then began coloring. I didn't really know what I would do with it after I finished coloring (which is my normal "wing-it" mode - haha!), but I found this lovely plaid DP that I think works. I also ended up using Tangerine Tango, and I think I've never used it before. I colored with Copic markers, but I did use a very sharp olive green colored pencil to fill in the "everything beautiful" in the sentiment (not that you could see it though).
Still cleaning and getting our house back in order, which has been a lot of work. But it was good because we got to meet our newest neighbors who are a real joy. They came over for a quick "get acquainted" visit, and we ended up chatting for nearly four hours. The neatest thing was that the guys really have so much in common and talked a lot, and we gals were thrilled about that. She is a sweetheart, and we hope to get together with just us girls.
Thanks for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you all a wonderful and blessed week! Hugs! xoxo

I always find myself smiling when I come across one of your cards Cheryl. Your colouring is always spot on, and your matting and die frames are always perfect choices. This beautiful image and sentiment is a delight, along with the papers and the STAX frame.

Oh, what a beautiful card, Cheryl. You did a fabulous job with your inspiration. Like you, I love that site and will return for more inspiration.
I love pumpkins, too, and especially filled with gorgeous flowers. Of course, your coloring just couldn't be more perfect. And, I love the verse from Ecclesiastes. Our dil and son used Ecclesiastes 3:1 on their wedding ceremony programs. Love both the verses.
I've told you how I love your plaid papers. This one is beautiful with your image.
Glad you took time out from the cleaning and straightening to make a card.

What a glorious autumn bouquet filling the pumpkin and your coloring of it is simply exquisite, Cheryl! I have become more fond of the color orange over the years and thisnis certainly the best season to use it. Love this beautiful card with the wonderful encouragement scripture!

Gorgeous sheen on the lovely fat pumpkin with its pretty florals - fabulous colouring Cheryl! Love the warm plaid to frame it and the touch of green in the script part of the sentiment. Lovely card!

What a gorgeous Fall card this is Cheryl. I adore this wonderful pumpkin filled with these gorgeous blooms you have colored to the 9's my friend. I consider "orange" to be my pink so I do love the color orange and by looking at your card, I would assume you love orange too. I love how you highlighted this fabulous verse with a colored pencil for more depth. The plaid background is so warm and showy and draws your eye right to this gorgeous image. I would like to challenge you to use more orange Cheryl because you use this color brilliantly my friend! Hugs! ~Karen.

WOW - what a delightful match of colours - beautifully coloured image (as always) and the matching shades of Autumn background. So fresh and pretty. You are definitely a master of the paint brush.
