This is for SCSer Carol. She and I are of one mind...we both love vintage so this card was fun for me to make. I used some old cardboard for my flowers so that's my recycled part. The girl is stamped on glossy paper using StazOn ink and then colored with distress inks. I used some of Carol's favorite colors...green and brown and sponged the edges to give it a vintage feel. I also stamped some flourishes in the bg and added the words.

Polly, you are always an inspiration with how you design. Rich with texture, colors, motion and emotion, and elements of surprises, they all roll around in your brain and you create masterful pieces of art that are treasured.

What wonderful warmth this gives out with those glowing browns and greens. The card flowers are very Carol, and I'm sure she'll love your sweet little girl too.
