I used a frame sized to fit two snapshot size photos, the original photo mat was just about 12" long. I used a 12x12 sheet of Not Quite Navy cardstock for the base and layered it with a smaller layer of Old Olive followed by a strip of the designer paper from the spring mini. Stamped "Joy" and "always" directly onto the yellow and white polka dot b/g paper. You can't tell from the photo but I stamped canvas "tone on tone" onto the NQN basesheet to give it some texture. I used all craft inks (which slowed me down a bit waiting to dry) because the colors show up truer on dark cardstock and because I want this to be as archival as possible and resist fading.
Found some cute patterned ribbon at the M store which seemed to fit the colors well, otherwise everything is all SU. Layered the stamped letters onto the SB page and then embellished with hardware, some punched out flowers and ribbon.
I was inspired by the wonderful Name Frames on this site to make a wedding gift for my best friend's daughter with her new married name on it. These are much easier to make than I thought they would be. I took it to work to get feedback from my coworkers and now find that I will be making wedding frames for the three gals planning weddings over the next year as well. ;-) Jan
