This is a very straightforward card. I masked the border leaving a larger area for the greeting then stamped the turtle.
I coloured the turtle then covered the image with the white wax crayon.
I sponged distress ink Peacock Feathers from the bottom halfway up, then Broken China from the top down. Once happy with the coverage I flicked water over the image panel and let it sit for two nano seconds lol. I then blotted the excess water with paper towel. I then rubbed the crayon off the turtle.
I stamped the two greetings in SU Tranquil Tide then over stamped with Versa Mark and clear heat embossed using my stamp position-er.
Finally I mounted the front panel onto some craft foam with Tombo glue and added this to the base and that's all folks....thanks for looking.

Goodness gracious, Mary! Thank you for explaining how you made this incredible card! I haven't ever used crayon like this, didn't even know it could be rubbed off. Had to fav it!
Sis Marg this is so magnificently made and color choices are to perfection. You inspire me to try this technique. This is absolutely pure gorgeousness!! Into my high ho gallery
