To start, I stamped out the images on some Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock using Versamark Watermark Ink pad and colored them using my polychromos. While coloring, I kept the pressure light to produce more vein like affect on the flowers and leaves. You can build as much pressure as you like but it causes more burnishing and chalkiness to the colored images. Then I cut the images using the coordinating die cuts. For the background, I stamped the Love Is background stamp onto some bristol smooth cardstock using Versamark Watermark ink pad and heat embossed using the Ultra Fine Gold Embossing powder. I then ink blended with Antique Linen Distress Ink to give it some vintage look. I deckled the panel using the Spellbinders deckled rectangles die and placed it on some Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb panel cut using stitched rectangles die from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped the sentiment, Love and Hugs which is from the stamp set Big Greetings from Simon Says Stamp, onto some Black Cardstock and heat embossing using White Embossing Powder from SSS. I placed everything on top of an A2 sized top folding white cardstock and embellished with some 6 mm and 4 mm and 2 mm gold sequins.

Ankita, this is GORGEOUS! Your pencil coloring is exquisite, and you're right about the light touch with the coloring. What a soft and dramatic effect, and I love the layout with the beautiful sentiment and the background script! Stunning card, my friend! Hugs and love to you...and thanks for your inspiration! xoxo
