Today Julie has us looking at the Grandinroad Web site for inspiration. I purchased a big multicolored cow head painting from them a year ago and it hangs proudly on my dining room wall!
I thought I had a chevron stencil, but no, not able to locate it if I had one! But I did find a chevron die from MFT - so cut a chevron strip out of white and adhered pieces over the black pot from Wendy Vecchi.
I colored the succulent from Altenew with a green Tombow marker - moving the color around with a clear glitter Wink of Stella, die cut it and layered it behind the pot. I die cut the fence from PTI and layered it behind the potted succulent.
I stamped 'Wishing you the very best' on the front and on the inside: 'on your retirement'. I need some for my stash!
We're having a glorious summer-like day here in MA - praying for any SCS folks who live near the erupting volcano in Hawaii - stay safe!
Accessories: Mat Mini Flower Pots - Wendy Vecchi/Stampers Anonymous, Chevron die - MFT, Gate Die from Tiny Town Holiday Yard die set - PTI, Succulent die - Altenew, Tombow Marker, Clear Glitter Wink of Stella, Tombow glue.

This is such a creative layout! I love the plank background for your pretty pot of succulents and the bit of fence you popped onto the upper right - great card!

Oh, how fun!! I love that you created a pot to match the one in the photo. There was also a black and white pot in my photo which I initially thought to incorporate in my card as a possible border but then I went with the Cover-up. The chevron die is so cool on your pot! The green woodgrain background is gorgeous! Fabulous card!
