I die cut the frame and removed the centre, popping up the scalloped oval in the centre. I punched the bird wings, sponging the edges with matching ink. I made the tulips 'double' for added interest, and hand cut the stems. I love the blushing bride pleated satin ribbon but it can be bulky looking - so I unpicked the stitching and ironed it!
Very sadly, a wonderful lady from my book club will never be able to live at home again. I'll be taking this to her tomorrow.

This is so pretty, so crisp, and so cheerful! Love your "punch art" tulips, they are so realistic. Love the die-cup square background with the soft-lines oval to host your lovely blooms!

Very pretty card, Sandie. I feel bad for your friend! I hope she can still read and participate with you all. This is super cheerful and lovely - it will be much appreciated.
