This is the 18th week of the year and my 18th card for my personal 50-week States of the Union Challenge. Each week I research a state (in the order they attained statehood) and use some tidbit of information about that state as my inspiration for a card. This week's state is Louisiana.
I've decided to go with this bit of Louisiana information for my card's inspiration... At night, the famous New Orlean's Jackson Square becomes a playground for hundreds of stray kittens and cats who roam the square each night.
You can find more photos/information about both the state of Louisiana and my card on my blog...
Too cute!! I lived in New Orleans for a bit and visited Jackson Square numerous times. I didn't know that about the cats! You are doing so well with your 50 states challenge!

Oh, Jeanette, I LOVE your card, and I knew that New Orleans had a lot of cats but not about Jackson Square at night. Must be a fun time for them. You are making great progress on all fifty states! I am so impressed! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
