It's Tickle a Teapotter time again already! And my BTPFF, Carla is our hostess. I call her my "best tea pot friend forever" because I've sent her two tickles in a row and my only two tickles ever. I love Carla's challenge today because I love faux techniques! And I love silly punny cards. I choose two faux techniques that I had never tried before. Faux Cloisonne and Faux Stitching. I choose this Bugaboo Digi because I think it's cute and almost punny and I colored it with Barbara's colors. I added a Faux Cloisonne butterfly which is made of a picture from Family Circle magazine of a little girl's jacket that had the right colors in it. I did my faux stitching in gold and framed with some gold DP to pull in the gold of the butterfly. I hope this card goes to a coffee drinker!
This also fits the Catch the Bug BINGO Challenge. The middle column works perfectly with sentiment, stitching, and player's choice (my choice is butterflies).

Love your card, BTPFF! And if I get it, that will make me your VBTPFF ;) Great job on the faux techniques, Jen. The butterfly is beautiful. Love that cute image, the glossy accents on the cups really makes your card stand out. I know the lucky teapotter will be as delighted as I've been to receive your card! Thanks for playing in my challenge.

Oh, Jen, I LOVE this card! What a fun and sweet card with the darling "flowering" cups, and I love the butterfly. I must try the faux Cloisonne technique...it's so beautiful! I have done the faux stitching and love how easy it is (no need to drag out my sewing machine - haha!). What perfect colors for your card using this week's Color Challenge! I love the Glossy Accents to make your cups really shine! Thanks for joining us and making it a double-header! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo

What an adorable card, Jen! I noticed right away the shine on the cups! They are so pretty in this week's colors! Love the butterfly and the faux stitching, too! So many challenges all wrapped up into one great card!

Oh wow, Jen - your butterfly is gorgeous. My big problem with this technique, which I love, is that I don't really buy magazines and DH's motorbike ones don't exactly have much colour in them. What a fabulous image - and great faux stitching too. I'll make sure you get someone else to send to this time, LOL. Don't forget to sign up on the thread ;-).
