This is my card for CC684. Barbara is our hostess and she has chosen tranquil tide, sweet sugarplum and rich razzleberry for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is a one-layer card. Well I managed to get my image and sentiment on one layer – so I cut my dessert in half this week (lol)!!!
I started my card by stenciling my background with sweet sugarplum ink. Used a Clarity Brush because I wanted the stencil work to be very soft. The Clarity Brush works great this way.
The plant stand is a die from CottageCutz. I cut the greenery in tranquil tide cardstock. I didnÂ’t think I would like that color for greens, but I do. My pots are all cut in rich razzleberry cardstock.
Stamped my friendship sentiment and added a couple of sweet sugarplum enamel shapes to complete my card.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Barbara has chosen some pretty colors and there is lots of inspiration from the Design team.

What a clever design, and what a beautiful card, Mary. I love the plant stand and all the pretty plants and flowers. The "wrought iron" plant stand is . . . Well, I just love it! Love the sentiment, too!

Wow, Mary, what an absolutely delightful card! The plant stand is so pretty and the challenge colors work perfectly. Lovely stenciling in the background, it turned out perfect, just a soft hint of color. Such a touching sentiment as well and the little hearts are the perfect touch!
