This is the other card I made for the TLC687 challenge - you'll find all the details in the challenge thread HERE
For this I used the largest butterfly from the TH Flutter set and stamped and embossed it on silver mirror card, then coloured it with Bic Marking pens. After that I followed the tutorial, and when finished, matted it on black.
For the base, I used a Joanna Sheen stencil, laid on white card. I sprinkled Brusho powders over it, and then used a palette knife to add glass bead gel with some silver glitter mixed through it. Trimmed to size and matted on black. It was almost as hard to photograph as the butterfly panel, so the photo really doesn't do it justice. DH was dead impressed when he saw the finished card.

Wow! Both your butterfly and stenciled frame are gorgeous. The imbedded glass beads pairs beautifully with the black ice technique! wonderful element of textures!

Wow, your background is beautiful as is your butterfly. Love that you colored your butterfly. I tried to do that when I did my first black ice technique but the color came off on the versa stamp. This is stunning!

This is beautiful. I love that you colored in the butterfly. After I finished mine, I was wishing I had used black embossing powder on my image. Your embossing looks great. Thanks, for a fun challenge.
