It natural beauty challenge time again with Nancy Williams (nwilliams6). This month in honor of earth day, we are recycling. I used some corrugated cardboard on my card.
My first thought was to have some flowers popping out of a hole in the cardboard, but I didn't like how that looked, so switched to butterflies instead. I sponged on the color and then fussy cut them out. I added leaves to make it look like it was an old tree.
The background and the leaves are wrinkle free distress done with distress oxide inks. I combined a couple of sentiments by cutting the words apart.

Super gorgeous, Melody! We both did cardboard and butterflies - how fun is that. I love those vivid blue butterflies and that great background! Awesome way to do the sentiment too. I love our challenges and I love your card!!!!! Hugz

Love that you picked this retired SU set that I have and love. This is going into my favorites and hope to case it sometime. Such a creative way to do the leaves and the butterflies.
