What a fun tickle! I knew right away when I read the challenge that I wanted to make a 3-d purse of some type. I watched a ew videos but really liked the Note Card Tote by Buckeye Inklings. This quick video show you how to make the little purse bag and gives you some other ideas but I adapted it for my needs. I used the Modern Label punch to add a little design to the ends of my bag handles.
The card was one a friend and I adapted from a card we saw on Pinterest. I'm sorry I do not know who made the original card.
I used a melon mambo card base. I then cut a 1/2" strip of dsp that I adhered down both sides of my card.
Then I stamped myimage in black momento onto water colour paper and used my watercolour marker to colour it in with melon mambo. Then mattedit onto the Stitched framelits oval.
A little sentiment from Perfectly Penned and some black rhinestone jewels to bring it all together.
h darn, I as just thinking maybe I should have used the black rhinestones on the purse instead of the melon mambo candy dots. I'll have to try that on the next one!
Thanks for looking,
Stephanie

You have done a beautiful job on your card and purse. I love the colors. I think the melon mambo dots were the perfect choice on the purse, they really pop on the black handles.
