It feels wonderful to play in the Free For All challenge today. It's been a long time....too long. I love working with alcohol inks, one of my favorite inks.
I had been looking at a Jennifer McGuire tutorial using alcohol ink and ghost stamping. I was doing a background when I looked at today's challenge. Got busy to join in.
I did the background with alcohol inks (several until I was satisfied) and then did the stamping with archival inks. You must wipe them off immediately. I did the vines and bubbles using the ghosting technique. I also did a turtle but didn't like the way it looked so I stamped a turtle and colored with Copics, cut it out, and popped on top of the ghosted one.
Listing my card in the WT challenge posted yesterday to do a water card. I have the ocean water and water bubbles.

Amazing card, Brenda....i am so glad that you played along. That bg turned out so nicely and the fussy cut turtle is perfect with it. I like that the turtle doesn't hide the pretty bg.

Wow! Brenda, what an awesome background you created! I love the remarkable ghost stamping; it is striking! And that beautifully colored turtle fits right into the background. Great piece of artwork, my friend! Hugs!
