Angie chose a great site today for our inspiration - Global Handmade Hope. My card was inspired by 2 images selected by Angie down the bottom of the challenge page - the birdcage and what looks like beautiful green glass jewellery.
The beautiful green colours made me think of using the stamped acrylic block technique which I haven't done for a while. I inked up the block using Lost Lagoon & Lemon Lime Twist inkpads, sprayed liberally with water, and adhered to the glossy c/s. Once dry I die cut using a Sue Wilson die frame. I die cut Poppy the bird 3 times for extra dimension and put Poppy inside the birdcage. Added a small black pearl for Poppy's eye. No sentiment, I will add one when I know who this card will be given to.
I used dimensionals to raise the panel off the card base. TFL!

Howdy neighbor. I love the graded color change of the cage, and the bird inside (RED!) so beautiful! Topped off with a gorgeous shiny bow. Terrific, mf!
