I love ombre colors & only after I finished this did I notice it was supposed to be light to dark. Oh well. Mine goes from dark to light to dark.
The checkerboard bg was stamped w/ white & clear embossed then I sponged the Distress ink from corner to corner. It was die cut & a very narrow black layer inserted between the 2 cut layers before putting them back together.
I split the greeting up to add the die cut Shine in the center. This die cut word was heat embossed w/ red glitter powder to make it sparkle & shine.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ closeups & the inside: The Write Stuff

Yikes, this beauty looks like a ton of work with a gorgeous outcome. I see light to dark, depends on the start line. Love your shine with the red glitter.

Love these beautiful colors, and the sentiment really a great one.

This is very striking and so much fun! That checkerboard stamp done with the embossed resist in those bright colors looks fantastic. Live the split up and die cut sentiment.

Very attractive way to slide that thin black panel in there. That little bit of black just made your beautiful colors stand out more. You are an experimenter--that makes you a great designer. Wonderful card, Julie.

OMG! I love the bright rainbow of your ombre, and the checkerboard design is such a fun and unexpected twist on the rainbow ombres I am so used to seeing. FANTASTIC!
