These were some bags I made up for a workshop this past weekend. I cased the idea from SCS. I don't really know how they will work b/c I only had 2 girls + the hostess but I did have a girl book. I included a brownie mix/lemonade packet, hostess info, postcards, catalog, current mini, and some old minis, and an incentive stamp/stampin spot!

Ladies, I wanted to update you on the bags. If you decide to do this leave the materials out until you need them. I took them to two workshops (well, I had 2 of the 3 as I gave one away at the 1st one) and they were already getting a little bent out of shape. I'm thinking I will leave everything out (I think it's the catalog doing it) and slip it in when I get to the hostesses home and take it out again when packing up. I just wanted to share so that you don't spend a lot of time on the bags and within a couple of ws's they're destroyed. Hopefully, they go over so well you don't have to pack them up and take them home-your future hostess will!

I like this idea too. I have a w/s scheduled for the 9th, there will be new stampers and old timers. The oldtimers are VERY interested in the new catty and want to have w/s's of their own so that they can own one. I know most are coming so that they can preview the new catty. This will be an exciting way to show it off. Thanks
I do have a word of caution (from personal experience) if a person wants to book a w/s from this one (or any future) I am charging them $10.00 plus s&h, and tax and will give them the catty, THEN when they actually have the w/s, I will credit them back the fees with their order. Last year I had a group who all booked w/s, I gave them the books and only one followed through, the rest I still can not get in touch with!

How about some of the larger Ziplock bags to put your catty, etc. in? Then, when you get to the party, all you have to do is take the materials out of the Ziplock baggie and slip into your Workshop bag! At the end of the party, take any leftover workshop bags, remove the items and place back in the Ziplock? That way, nothing gets messed up and everything stays easy to load/unload!

Great suggestion Betty, I think that is what I'll do for my next workshop. See, I guess this is why you posts things to help others and you all can help me too! Thanks!!
