I created this card for Send a Smile 4 Kids. I cut a piece of mixed media paper to size for the focal panel, and stamped my image on it with the help of my Stamp-a-Ma-Jig. I colored it with my Inktense pencils, using a damp paintbrush to pick up the color from the pencils & apply it to the paper. After everything had dried, I went over the eyes with a black glaze pen to give them some shine, and added the highlights back in with a white gel pen.
I cut 2 of the patterned papers for the middle & 2 side panels and adhered them to a blue cardstock panel. I also adhered my image panel in place.
I didn't have an appropriate greeting stamp that would fit the strip in the sketch. So I cut a 1-1/2x1/2" strip of peach cardstock. I created a blank "canvas" in Photoshop with the same dimensions, and typed my greeting onto that in a cute font that I happen to have on my computer. I printed that onto the cardstock strip, adhered that under the image panel, and mounted my finished card front to a white card base.
