Nancy Williams (nwilliams6) has done it again. She set for another challenge using Natural Beauty, an old, but not forgotten retired SU stamp set. This time the challenge was to make a really wintery card. Winter... with a set that has 2 flower stamps, a butterfly, a leaf, a bird, and a word stamp. Definitely a challenge. Logic would say use the bird, but if you know me, that is not where I'm going to go. I used the butterfly!
I decided to make a bridge card, because I wanted to hang the butterflies, so they would be free floating.
The background was made with turquoise brusho watercolor powder and water. Then I stamped the tiny snowflakes from a Gina K set and added some punched snowflakes as well.
I stamped the butterfly on some clear acetate packaging with azure stazon ink and then loosely cut them out. I punched a hole in each and also in the top bridge. They are hung with white sewing thread.
The sentiment is computer generated.
I'm excited to see what Nancy makes. I'm sure it will be awesome! I will link her card when she posts, so you can see and admire her gorgeous creation. Here is Nancy's wonderful card.

I thought of that sentiment even before I scrolled down and saw it was what you had used. Brilliant idea to suspend the acetate butterflies from the top bridge. They are so delicate looking and make great "snowflakes".

I won't be able to do this one until this weekend, Melody, but you have set the bar high! I have never even heard of a bridge card, and it is amazing. I love you have snowflakes and butterflies and kept the whole card white and blue. Super beautiful and VERY interesting. Love the sentiment too. I have a couple of ideas floating around and they are THICK with MIX stuff. This is so fun!
