This was done inspired by this gorgeous card of Karen's in her gallery. I just love fern's and I had to laugh when I dug out my box of fern stamps and seen this one in there. ( I may not have played with this before and the others are all a lot smaller stamps) So, I followed her footsteps and chose 3 distress colors and misted it with water in the Misti before stamping, and then did it again randomly over the top so, it has a really loose print. I did not make any splatters. I did change the colors, orientation and card shape. Oh, I also moved the sentiment down and popped it up a little. Karen, I hope you like this and enjoy your week! thanks for this challenge Julie, & tfl.

Love your mix of greens for your fern. Very pretty! So fun to have the same stamp that Karen used. I love your 6" square card and stitched panel and that you turned the fern sideways with the sentiment on it.

Gorgeous! I always get so nervous about spritzing my stamps with water a if it's the end of the world if I mess it up. I like the fern laying down like that. Great design.

At first I thought we had used the same inspiration, but not quite! I did not see the one you chose! The fern leaf is a gorgeous image to me and it makes a lovely sympathy card! Very nice with the CAS design!

Your fern stamp reminds me the several perennial ferns I planted last spring and thrived throughout the growing season. I hope they come back this spring. The colors are amazing as is your stamped beauty!

Wow! You made these colors sing on this gorgeous fern! I really adore how you positioned this fern on the card and where you placed this wonderful sentiment banner. This rustic green bg and your stitched image panel work perfectly with this fern image. I am super impressed with this gorgeous card! Thank you for playing along today- this really means a lot to me. Hugs! ~Karen.
