What a great TLC Challenge from Lyn today. This technique falls into the "duh, why didn't I think of that?" category. I needed a retirement card and I had this Snoopy image pinned. Perfect for this challenge! But instead of using a stamp or even a digital stamp, I used a page from one of my kids' coloring books. I scanned in the image and printed it out on the cardstock. It didn't even matter that it's from a Christmas coloring book and there is a wreath hanging on Snoopy's doghouse. I sponged in the sky and colored in the silhouette. Then I added some white gel pen highlights like Lyn did in her sample and painted a moon and stars with some acrylic paint.
Thanks for the great challenge, Lyn! Love this technique!

Ohmygosh! I LOVE IT! It is a very versatile technique for sure - I love that you could stretch a holiday stamp (or coloring page) and your card couldn't be more perfect for a retirement card! Your gel highlights are perfect! Thanks for playing along with my challenge!

That was a weirdly fluffy Snoopy in the pin, I don't even think any of his brothers look like this that, though possibly one of them might. Great card, Jen. Looks like a take on the Bordered Sentiment technique as well as Lyn's fun one today.
