Monday is, as always, housework day here...but I didn't want to miss Lyn's first TLC challenge, so I pulled out a stash background. This is plan B - I might yet get plan A (conceived in work) to come together when I can give it more time. I wanted to make a bridge card with a silhouetted hedgehog, and my toadstool border for the bridge. But when I got home from work and stamped my hedgie and coloured him - well, I wasn't convinced that if you didn't know that's what it was you'd recognise it. Whereas I reckoned this Unity giraffe would be instantly recognisable. It's stamped on one of my glossy photo paper and DOX backgrounds (not all gloss photo papers work), so I haven't a clue what colours I used. I stamped the giraffe with Archival black and coloured with a Sharpie, then stamped the grasses and leaves. I added a white gel pen border and some little Liquid Pearl dots in through the grass - so I reckon as a new stamp it also fits Jeanne's MIX challenge from last week.

What a stunning card this is Lisa. It makes me smile to see this wonderful sunny bg and how it showcases this gorgeous silhouette giraffe and wonderful long grasses. The white doodle border adds to the carefree whimsy of this wonderful card! ~Karen.

The giraffe is absolutely fabulous, as is your background. Your beautiful work always catches my attention in the gallery, Sabrina. You are so talented.

Gorgeous BG, and the all-black foreground makes it pop even more. Great card!

Love, love, love the giraffe Sabrina. I pulled out my giraffe image but it did not have a hat and I was not sure I would be able to do 2 cards for the challenges today and did not have time to search for a hat for it so changed the image and thought on my card. This is so super fun and a great BG you added to it as well.

Seeing your bold giraffe among all the looseness of your other elements makes a stellar composition! Going into my favs, not only because it's awesome, but I fed some giraffes in Palm Springs this year and your card will help me preserve that memory.
