Our grandchildren are all special, but we had an amazing thing happen to our Erin. She moved to New York for her final internship with the world-famous chef, Daniel Boulod! He has restaurants in London, Paris, the Far East, as well as many in the States.
We were concerned about Erin being alone in the big city, but she LOVES it! She has worked in all four of Daniel's places in Manhattan. Erin graduates in May with a BS in Restaurant Management and Pastry (Lots of Science courses!). She fast-tracked, and this is her third year. She's worked very hard.

I love your diecuts on this fabulous card remembering Erin's year in New York, and wow, it was great hearing there will soon be a new chef Erin out there to become rich and famous from her amazing "kitchen" science. Congratulations to her.

Beautiful! What a fantastic accomplishment!! I don't think I shared this here before but my grandson Jordan (the red head) moved to Toronto, Canada to go to culinary school (he has duel citizenship and it is a lot less to go to school in Canada!!).
I'm hoping to be able to say something like you have here someday!
I love your cityscape and bg! Thanks for playing!

I am just loving everyone's memories. How very exciting to have a grandchild who is doing so well. Your New York skyline is amazing...i love the soft colors you used and the pretty due cut border.

This is a great card and a great story. Love your city scene. Congrats to Erin on her accomplishments. If I were young again I'd be a chef. Who knew back then

Wonderful die cuts to depict NYC, Anne! I have followed with interest your comments about your chef grand daughter; she is obviously a very talented and focused young woman and is surely going to have a wonderful career! Fabulous card to celebrate such a great adventure!

That is some cityscape but...since it's New York I can see why it has to be so elaborate. WOW how cool for Erin to work with a famous chef...congrats to her! I think you need to make a special trip there to test out the restaurants ;)
