After stamping the bouquet on card stock I stamped it on scrap to make a mask. After masking the flowers I sponged the distress inks around them. Then I ran the piece through the embossing folder, covered it with Versamark, and clear embossed it. The shine shows up some in the photo but IRL it is stunning! I layered the art piece with card stock and adhered to the base. I stamped and white embossed the sentiment, cut it in a banner shape and attached to card with pop dots. Challenges entered: www.cardchallenges.com (MFT84 for the colors); stampinkpaper.com (SIP131, use embossing); trystampinontuesday.blogspot.com (negative space coloring); and heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com (something new - the stamp set & technique were new for me.) TFL!

Wowza, this is amazing! What a great group of techniques you've employed here, love the colors, but that shimmer is wonderful! Thanks for playing with us at Stamp Ink Paper this week!
This is gorgeous! The embossing over the versamark creates such a gorgeous shine and I can imagine how much more intense it is in real life. Beautiful colour combination and the black and white sunflowers really stand out. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Heart 2 Heart

Great use of the technique featured in the January challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday, Swede Mom! I like the added texture the embossing and heat embossing added. Well done! -Donna
