I'm uploading WAY late today. My three year old tumbled down the stairs this morning and we spent a good part of the day at the ER. He broke his collarbone, so now he's in a sling and taking ibuprofen. Poor little guy. So he wasn't quite in the mood to help me finish my card today.
This is for Lydia's MIX challenge to use silver and gold. I embossed my Happy New Year with gold EP and made some silver and gold snow behind my trees. I cut the trees out of paint sample cards using my ScanNCut. Also had it cut out my penguins. This machine is getting easier and easier to handle.
I cut the trees out of paint samples, because I'm working my way through the TLC challenges. This is number 7 ;)
I also realized they are striped, so good for the Free for All challenge too!
And last but not least the CCEE challenge was for penguins. That's a lot of challenges in one card. Just the way I like it!

I'm so sorry to hear about your three year old breaking a collar bone. I broke mine the day before my 16th birthday. It must be even more difficult being a young one. Your card is darling. I like the heart and the three penguins snuggling.

Oh Jen, yikes! I hope his young bones heal quickly. I'm impressed that you managed to make a card at all, and this one is so gorgeous it went straight into my favourites.
