I always love a winter scene lit by some light source so I went for the street lamp in this image here.
I combined 3 Penny Black stamps for this image. First I stamped and colored the lamp post image (colored/inked directly onto the stamp, stamped with my MISTI several times adding color as I went, then with a wet paintbrush moved the color around, clear embossed the whole image - my stamp was left in my MISTI). I sponged yellow for the glow of the light, and then I masked for the snow drifts and sponged the snow and sky. (Because I clear embossed the light post, I didn't have to worry about sponging over the lamp post). Stamped the trees and sentiment, splattered the sky with white acrylic paint, removed the moon mask, added some more snow with gel pen.
