This card was made for 3 challenges: the Alphabet challenge for the letter R for red, the Color Challenge to use Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler and Silver (although, I may be pushing the boundaries for silver for the color challenge with this gray cs. Let me know!) and the Ways To Use It Challenge to use a bird on your card. I think this Hero Arts cardinal is so regal looking. Once I stamped the bird, then I took a brayer in smokey slate and rolled that onto the embossing folder, then I stamped the single tree from the SU Lovely As A Tree set 3 times onto the embossing folder over what I just brayered using SU basic gray ink, and ran this through the cuttlebug. I use a piece of craft foam behind the "silver" panel to give the lift for the shaker card. This card was a lot of fun to make and I am giving it to my SIL as part of her Christmas gift. Thanks for looking! ~Karen.

Karen, I am trying to wrap my head around how you did this background with the trees and the embossing folder, because this is GORGEOUS. Your bird is exquisite. Wow, girl, fantastic card.

Oh Karen, what a stunningly gorgeous shaker card. That layering cardinal is amazing and that is such a fun thing to do with that embossing folder. Gorgeous "snow" in your shaker card. Beautiful!
