This is for Toni's creative Ways to Use It Challenge to use birds in honor of the start of Christmas Bird Count, an early winter bird census. This Christmas dove piece is one I had prepared for a Card Candy swap years ago. After saving for years an extra set of all of the pieces I made, I've been using them up recently and this is the last one. It's perfect for today's challenge and Christmastime. I raised the piece up on a white panel layered on a light blue card base. I stamped the Christmas sentiment below it in navy ink. Wrapped white ribbon around with the bow and scattered some pearls. I have a lonely senior friend to whom I send cards throughout the year; she loves the color blue, so all my cards for her have a least a little blue on them. She will especially like this Christmas card. I'll be watching for birds now! TFL

Gorgeous! The dove itself speaks of purity and peace (anyway it does to me) giggles. This is one beautiful card - lovely sentiment!!

What an elegant Christmas card this is with the dove and silver sparkle paper. I love this beautiful sentiment and how you wrapped it all up with this wonderful ribbon! ~Karen.
