When I read the title of today's IC challenge (Southern Highland Craft Guild), I thought it was going to have something to do with Scotland; and visions of plaid went through my head. (I must have had Outlander on my mind! I had just watched the last episode.) However, it was the Highlands of North Carolina not Scotland! Course change!!! The Dills Bird Carvings caught my eye, particularly this blue jay. I needed a birthday card for tomorrow for my granddaughter-in-law's birthday. So that was the direction I went, using this week's sketch challenge as my layout.

I love this blue jay. Since my DH's name is Jay, I try to make him a blue jay card every year for his Valentine's Day birthday! I love this bird, and using the challenge from Wednesday made this card especially wonderful, mf!
