This card is for CC663. Karen Barber is the hostess for today's Color Challenge and she chose Silver and White OR Gold and White with sparkles as desert.
What a great challenge, Karen!! I love the color choices!!
I began developing my card by embossing the front of a white card base with a holly embossing folder. I stamped, embossed, die cut, and assembled Poinsettia flowers and holly leaves and covered them with lots of sparkle. Each flower has silver microbeads as its center. The flowers are embossed with white embossing powder and the leaves with silver embossing powder.
To create the frame around the sentiment, I die cut two white frames and one Silver Glimmer frame with a CottageCutz Stitched Wide Rectangle Frame Die. I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink, covered it with Silver EP, and heat set it. I attached the frame with the sentiment to the right side of the card and finished it by attaching the flowers and leaves.
I enjoyed making this card, and I think the color choices are perfect for a Christmas card.
Thank you for viewing my card, and a special thanks to those who leave a comment!
