This is for Judy's Featured Stamper Challenge honoring papercrafter40 aka Andrea. She has an amazing gallery filled with creativity and interesting techniques.
I loved this card for the curved edges, the bright colors and the open white space with a large sentiment.
This year I have been using up retired paper. I thought this would be a good card design for that endeavor. For my card, I used all paper & dies, no stamps or ink, which is unusual for me. I die-cut the sentiment and painted with a glitter brush pen to give it lots of sparkle. You might be able to see some of it in the picture. I die-cut the DSP and the navy cardstock with the curve die and then laid the two layers on the white card base. Finished off with three rhinestones, one over the letter i and two at each end of the curve. I made 10 of these cards and I had fun experimenting with the bend/direction of the curve and the dimensions of the paper; this is one of my favorites of all the cards that I made. Thank you Andrea for sharing your cards with us. TFL

Wow Diane, is this ever a gorgeous card. I love these wonderful curved borders that showcase this flowery dsp so nicely. Your bold sparkly sentiment really takes center stage here and coordinates so nicely with your dsp. You did a terrific job of honoring Andrea's lovely card by making this beauty. I love the little gems you added too. ~Karen.

Such a pretty card, beautiful colors, & love that curved division of the layers! Love that die-cut sentiment, too!
