Someone at the Holland, MI seminar shared this idea...to punch out every color with a circle punch, put them in a bag or container and pull out colors at random to create your color scheme! Look at these colors! NEVER would have put these together!
I also got a technique to use markers on ribbon...to coordinate every ribbon to your color scheme! Thanks ladies if you are on here!

Here is the ribbon technique...so simple it seems crazy not to have thought of this!
Take the desired amount of ribbon, lay it flat. Take 2 or 3 colored markers and using the larger part of the marker run the marker on the edge of one side of the ribbon. Some people use a ruler. I just eyeball it. I do the edges first then do the middle. It dries intantly. Only try on grosgrain white or cream. You can coordinate your colors to match your cards. This was my favorite idea at the Holland Seminar!

Cool ribbon technique--I've been running ribbon across my stamping pads for years to coordinate ribbon with cardstock but never once thought of using a marker on it! What a great idea! I bet one could do polka-dots as well as stripes....
Thank you again for sharing both the ribbon & color combo generating idea!
