I used Francine's same technique here but used all peralescent paint & clear embossed the image & sentiment. I still stamped the image about 5 times before deciding to try clear embossing. I also kept a neater edge this time.

I found embossing really helped add definition to my sentiment and stars - looks as if you found the same. I think both your cards are really lovely, I can't decide which I like better.
