A big Congrats to Cathie, the newest Featured Stamper (FS561)! She has a beautiful, growing little gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the Thanksgiving theme & used similar colors, but I used a different layout, different images & used embossing resist as my technique.
My card is pretty quick & easy. I started by stamping & embossing the two leaves in white across mostly the top & left side. I had to do just a little masking. Then I sponged on Distress oxide & regular inks & blended them toward the bottom. After die cutting, I turned the thin layer upside down & put it back then stamped the greeting w/ the Versafine. A single embossed, sponged & fussy cut leaf was added on top.
Congrats again, Cathie! Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

This is an absolute beauty, Julie! I'm totally in love with the color graduation and the leaves embossed in white! I like the way you flipped the outer frame, too! Into my favorites!
