This is for Forest Ranger - Jeanette's Falliday Fest Challenge - Trash to Treasure - use a recycled item.
Also, this is for last Sunday's Featured Stamper Challenge honoring Jeanette herself. I so enjoyed looking through her gallery and kept going and going. I was intrigued that we have very few stamps in common. I guess that's why I kept looking. At the very end, her third gallery entry, I saw this card:
Not only do we both have that stamp, I had this image already stamped and sitting on my desk ready to use. That's the one to use! I had similar brightly colored paper in my "to be recycled" drawer. That's when the idea of combining these challenges came about. For my card, I used recycled paper from "junk mail" and white corrugated paper from packaging. For the FS Challenge, I changed card design, size, mat color, titled the panel, added die-cut happy birthday. I'm doing the happy dance to have this FF challenge done, be able to complete the Featured Stamper Challenge for Jeanette, and have another birthday card made.
Congrats Jeanette and thanks for inspiring my card in two ways. TFL

What a happy and cheerful birthday card, Diane! And how fun to combine it with the featured stamper challenge featuring Jeanette herself! I really like your bright, cheerful floral panel. So pretty and happy.

Oh my goodness... what is the likelihood that you would go back that far in my gallery (you are a patient woman) and see that blurry picture of my 3rd card... and then have the very same image on your work surface already stamped and ready to go. This card was meant to be.
And what a colorful and fun card it is. Love that you recycled stuff from the junk mail and corrugated too. Waste not, want not, right. Thank you so much for going From Trash to Treasure with me and for CASEing my card, too. I am honored!

Wow, Diane! This is an awesome CASE of Jeanette's card! I love that you kept the bright bright color combo and wasn't it so fun to be able to combine with her own "Trash to Treasure" challenge!
