For this card I used Heather Telford's Distress Stain Watercolor technique here: Distress Stain Watercolor Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers. I inked up the stamp by daubing stain on the various parts of the flower, starting with the lightest color first (Mustard Seed) and working out to the darkest color. Then I spritzed the stamp with water and stamped it onto the watercolor paper. I used my water brush to pull the stain into the stamp to fill it in. I added touches of more stain here and there where I wanted it to be darker, and then sponged in from the corners using Stampin' Up! Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, and Old Olive. I have another card in my gallery next to this one using the same technique but different colors. Enjoy!
