It's past my cut-off time for being able to play in the MIX challenge today. I made my own mixed media fun instead...
Base layer - wrinkle-free distress using weathered wood, hickory smoke regular distress, alternated with some Antique Linen DOX. Lots of drying time. Then I used modelling paste and stencilled the snowflakes. More drying time, and then I buffed them with some assorted luster rub-ons.
The image was done last night for colour therapy - a Michael Powell stamp (such a shame he only does cross-stitch kits now) stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils, plus some Winsor & Newton watercolour for the sky.

Every time I see your inktense creations I get inspired. I inherited a set when I sold my sister's stuff, but have not had time to experiment with them. The little scene is sod pretty on this card. How fun to have pink buildings. Great use of mediums and textures on this.
