Robin is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has asked us to use Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy and Rich Razzleberry. I was a bit stymied by these colors--no green means no flowers, right? Then I remembered a card I made a long time ago, which I had CASEd from some unknown, talented person. So I decided to CASE myself and make something similar. I changed the colors, the layout, the greeting and the embellishments, but it's still very much like the original.
And then I remembered dessert! And you know I always want dessert! Robin asked us to use a die-cut on our card. So I found a sentiment that fit a die, and the card made itself from there. I added a few of the cute metallic enamel shapes to bling it up just a bit.
This card is going to a good friend who moved away. We will be together next month, and I want her to know how much I'm looking forward to seeing her.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Barbara, I love what you did for this challenge. I also love this sentiment. I seem to say this to some friends all the time. Just beautiful.

Your blended panel is gorgeous Barbara and the sentiment is so true. A good reminder to reach out to dear friends and make the effort to spend more time with them if possible.
