My daughter loves Macarons, this is her birthday card. Shes a teen now but has not grown out of her love for those colorful confections. I used felt to create my cookies. If you are familiar at all with the baking these little goodies, you'll know how important those "feet" are. I used a needle to create a more defined lifted edge. I even colored the orange one with a highlighter to get more definition from it.
The gold striped background was actually a mini bag from SU!.
The sentiment was carefully heat embossed on Acetate.
O- Oval shaped cookies
R- Rhinestones
A- Acetate
N- Needle work (cookie edges)
G- Gold
E- Embossed

Shannon I love this beauty. Can you believe i have never had a macaroon? I am seeing them in all kinds of crafting here recently and am wondering what am I missing. I might need to try one. I love that you were able to get all the elements of the letters on your card. Terrific job. Thank you for playing in the Fallidays challenge and creating this beauty.
