So, I pretty much have been stalking this bloom for a while now because, the detailing is so awesome on it I knew it would be fun to color... even better its easy to see for my (old) eyes... the bloom and leaves were cut out with scissors, it's hard to see in this shot but, the window of the framing has some pale green tulle in it for a screen texture. My gma was a florist and one of my moms names is Dahlia... but, I have no idea if these flowers come in Mum type colors for fall. and that's OK I like it There are a couple more shots on the blog here. tfl.

Stacy, you've colored this beautifully and yes, dahlias come in those marvelous colors. The offset layout shows off the petals and the tulle adds a nice texture. Gorgeous!

LOVE what you've created here Stacy! I admit to being biased as Dahlias are my fav flower (hence my SCS name), but your card just jumped out of the gallery with your gorgeous coloring and the colors that you used. The ties to your grandma are so sweet as well!
