Here is my card for this week's color challenge. I do not own any of the ink colors suggested so I came as close as I could. I love Tim Holtz Distress inks, but not for stamping because they are blotchy. I was frustrated stamping with the twisted citron so I double stamped some of the leaves to give a little depth to the image and also to cover up the blotchy stamping. Miss Boo indicated that she is using her older stamps and the summer silhouettes stamp set I have has hardly seen any ink at all so I decided to pull this out and see what I could do in about 10 minutes. This was fun and easy to do and I may make a few more of these cards to have on hand. This color combination is certainly one I would never have thought to use, and I am suprised how much I like it! The sentiment stamp "dribbled" ink where it should not have so that is why there are some well-placed copper sequins. Thanks for looking today! ~Karen

These colors do look great together, and you have done a beautiful job with your card. Love how you covered your blotches, these sequins work great on the card, adding just the right amount of bling to it. Gorgeous!

Karen, I think this is a beautiful card and stamped perfectly. I love your sentiment and the design of the flowers. We know sequins are used for being pretty and for other reasons, don't we?

Love those sequins. It seems like you meant to make the blotches perfectly in those places, lol........
Love your cascading flowers too and they perfectly "frame" the size of the sentiment stamp! Well done, my friend.

Beautiful, my friend! Love the grouping of flowers. The sentiment is lovely. I like the sequins placed around it, even if it was to cover something up. Looks great! Wonderful use of the colors. Great job! TFS
