This is my sample for Lisa's WTUI challenge this week. I was keen to use the playing card die set I got from Serendipity Stamps.
I cut 8 cards in all. 6 of them were stencilled with a TCW stencil and distress inks. For the first page, I stamped a Unity sentiment. I stamped half of a Penny Black image on each of the next two pages - and the shuttlecock was stamped on a scrap and fussy-cut. I added some clubs, diamonds etc. cut from scraps. Then I used double-sided tape, and making sure to assemble the pages in the right order, I used organza ribbon taped across the back to create the hinges. Then I stuck the backs on each piece.

Sabrina, your little book is adorable. Love your cute badminton playing critters and the playing card theme. The matchbook suitcase is goes with it perfectly.

Sabrina this is so adorable. The playing card die cuts are a perfect embellishment to the shape and the stenciling on the front and back really fills up the space nicely. Love the darling fun Penny Black stamps. What fun. Thank you for such a fun sample for the challenge.

This entire creation is amazing Sabrina. I love the vintage suitcase and how your accordian book looks neatly folded and packed .... it is even more spectacular seeing how you have stamped, coloured and stencilled everything. I live the little mice and how you fussy cut the shuttlecock. The sentiment is great too. This is officially going into my Favs of 2017 my friend.
