My sister asked me if I would create a couple of autumn thank you cards for her to give away so this is the first one. I LOVE the teal pumpkins that are beginning to pop up all over. Not only are they super pretty but they are a symbol for awareness of food allergies. If you place a teal pumpkin on your porch a parent knows they can ask for a non-food treat for their child on Haloween night! Pretty cool!
Our beautiful SC665 challenge this week comes from Cathy! The focal layer is the perfect size to create a little scene. I used images from the Fall for You stamp set by Unity Stamp Co. For the background, I used the Paint Swiping technique. Mine looks a little different than Cathie's beautiful cards because, well, I always take a technique and put my own spin on it!
I am so thankful that you stopped by to take a look! Hugs!

Thank you also for a terrific sample for Cathy's sketch! Beautifully done.

These colors are stunning, and your coloring is stunning. I didn't know about teal pumpkins, thanks for sharing that. Not only do I love teal, I love what they symbolize. I thought your background paper was dsp - wow, beautiful job with your paint swiping. This is gorgeous.

Wow! What a beautiful card, Angie. I love that swiped background. I have made cards with the blue pumpkins in the past but did not know about the food allergy awareness. Thanks for that info. Oh, and you did some beautiful coloring.
