This card was made for the next meeting of our monthly stamp group.
Each month someone stamps up some images for the "What Do I Do with this Stamp". Everyone take a copy and makes up a card with it. It is fun to see what people do with the stamps - there are just so many different ideas.
For this card I first sponged the background with Distress Inks and then stamped the Darkroom Door Journey stamp. I then die cut the panel with my new Penny Black vintage frame die. Sponged around the edge to make it look older.
The little train image was coloured with distress inks which I pressed onto an acrylic block and then lifted the colour off with a fine brush.
Hope you enjoy the train journey with me.

This looks fantastic Helen. You have taken such a small image and made it larger than life. The background is brilliant too! I love your stamps group challenge, what a terrific idea. Top weather today hey. xx

Oh, Helen, what a fabulous card you've made with this image! It's brilliant with the background, and I spotted that die in a heartbeat! I love it and love how you've distressed it. Fabulous card! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
